Have some berghias that are running out of food so I am looking for some aptasia (the more the better).  Let me know if you have any and how much you want for it.
    Thanks

No!! I'm dead serious!  Berghia are a nudibranch that eat only aptasia.  People who have an aptasia infestation in their tanks are using them.  I'm running out of aptasia and my berghias are going to be starving soon so if anyone has aptasia they want to get rid of I do want it.

Or.... you could sell me your berghias!

Where are you located? My overflows are FULL. It's going to be way too difficult to try to get them to you off the rocks or any other way...

I live in the Quad Cities area.  The plan is to sell them once they are laying eggs.  I have some going out this week and should have some more ready by next week.
I still need to find someone willing to part with their aptasia.  I don't even need the rock just someone willing to pluck or cut the aptasia off the rocks.  As we all know it only takes a small piece of the aptasia and it will regenerate itself.  I have a biocube which I am using to keep the aptasia in but the berghias are eating it faster than they can reproduce at the moment.
I will trade some berghias for the aptasia.  That is a great deal!!!  You trade me your unwanted aptasia and I will give you the berghias to start cleaning up the rest of your tank.

I can clean out both of my entire overflows if you are heading to Fall Fest. I've got a long handled scraper that I could get about 50-100 of them! Let me know, I'm looking for ANYTHING to get rid of these guys. Just the other day I ordered 15 peppermint shrimp from LA's BYO reef cleaner crew...

If you have plenty in a spot not visible and where they can't spread around easily then keep as many as you can. They are some of the best filter feeders available in the hobby. I plan on putting a bunch in a runway before mechanical filtration.

I have seen some pretty cool aitasia scrubber pictures. Would like to see what you come up with too. If I were a braver person I would try it!

Not officially yet but do have a bunch of little ones.  Purchased quite a few a couple of months back to rid the DT of aptasia and kept 3 out to put into a 20 gal just in case they didn't make it in the tank for any reason.  Since then I have gotten quite a few little ones and for now the LFS in town will take as many as I can get him.  So I guess I'm kind of breeding them, but I won't be for long though if I can't get a hold of any aptasia.

Thanks again Teresa! I put them in last night how you explained to me. They all crawled into their cave right away. Do you know how long it will be before I see them out and about? Also, do you know how long it will be before they lay eggs and how long it will be before I see the babies?

They should already be laying eggs.  You may see egg strands on your rock, they are small circular bunches, I noticed they like to lay the eggs on the underside of the rock.  The best way to see them is taking a flashlight and looking around the rock at night.  You may not see them but just watch and see if the aptasia starts to disappear.  The babies you probably won't be able to see for about 2 months.  The eggs hatch at about 10 days but the little ones are so small and tranparent that the earliest I saw one even in the 20g breeder was 6 weeks.

I hope the shrimp don't eat your berghia. About 4 years ago I ordered some berghia for my aptasia ridden tank. Found some eggs they laid but never saw any of them again. My guess is either the peppermint shrimp ate them or my pair of target mandarins got to them. Hopefully it was just my crappy tank parameters that killed em!
