With the move, Brian and I will have 'shared custody' of our 3 kitties. Every 3 months we take turns keeping the kitties at our respective apartments. Therefore, I'm looking for a cat tree to have at my place. Needs to be large, with at least 4 levels for sitting, etc. Our current one is just about 6' tall. Looking for one similar height and about 2-3' x 2' base. Lemme know if anyone has anything around.
Otherwise, I would be interested if anyone has any spare 2"x4" boards and plywood so I could make my own. Either way, please pm me or post here /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif
    Thanks,Kylie

How big was the one you built? Approximately how much did it cost to build? I do like building things but I'm not very experienced with wood working yet.

well you can make it any size and if you just want to make it from 2 x 4's home depot will cut the wood for you to the size you want for free and then you just need some rope and carpet and for sitting you can use Concrete Quik-Tube Form By Quikrete i think they sell those at home depot as well and you just cut those down and put carpet over them with a staple gun, i used a hot glue gun to attach the rope to the wood

We have one in our basement that our kitties don't use much, its about 4-5' tall and heavy, sort of cubes upon cubes and carpeted. If you're interested in it, I can take pictures. You could take it for $25, you haul it.

I'd like to see pics. At that price, I wouldn't be against having two trees at my new place since it'll just be me and the cats. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

    And vikubz... what??
