I maintain the 200 gallon FOWLR tank at Taki Japanese Steakhouse in Urbandale.  They are seriously bugging me for more fish.  Today he said 3 to 5 more.
Currently, all that is in the tank is a 2-1/2" to 3" Niger Trigger, a 2" six-line wrasse, and 3-1/2" Kole Yellow-Eye Tang.
They want some more social fish, since the ones in there run and hide all the time.  They would probably also like larger fish - the larger, the better.
I am looking for semi-aggressive, because the other fish that I put in there at the same time (2 clowns, diamond goby, coral beauty angel, chromis, even a 4-5" koran angel) got picked on and eventually died.  So I need fish that will hold their own.  The six-line wrasse was responsible for picking apart the Koran angel which ticked me off, so keep that in mind, he's a mean little dude.
I will consider any fish you are interested in selling, but I ask that you be completely honest about it's health as I am not there to watch every day.
Please PM me if you have anything that sounds like it will go well in this tank!!
    Bud

Get the six-line out. Add some more triggers. Hardy fish, colorful, fairly cheap . I would add a Bluethroat, huma, and a small clown trigger. All can be found for $50 or so. Consider maybe also a few lionfish. 200 should handle these if you have a good skimmer. Live aquaria has a 14 day guarantee so, buy with confidence. Just my 2.

Lionfish and triggers don't mix very well. Sure some people may have luck putting the two together but more often than not the triggers pick at the lionfish.

Is a six-line rally so aggressive that I couldn't put and other fish in there though? He does just fine with the Niger and Tang. Also I'm not really sure about the Clown trigger. Seascapes has one but Tim told me that unless I want a bunch of dead fish, don't get him. Too aggressive for even a semi-aggressive tank?

My sixline has been agressive but not to the point that I couldn't add new fish. I added a Flame angel, Yellow Tang, Blue Tang and a pair of clowns after the sixline. Clown triggers seem to be ok when they are small but grow up to be just plain evil.

If you put a lion in there the six line will become lunch sooner or later my line that Joel now has ate a good sized flame angel. Anything that they can fit in there mouth will be eaten

A large snowflake eel would be a great addition to a simi agressive fish only tank with large fish

Always add the most aggressive fish last. The clown would be last. Small clown trigger (1-2 inches) will be fine for years. I never had a problem with lions and triggers in the past but I'm sure you will get the occasional problem, just like angels in reefs. Buy all small fish. This tends to eliminate problems from the start.

i got a few that i'm wanting rid of, but not sure how agressive they can be. I got a magnificent fox face, blue hippo tang, and sail fin tang. all the size of your hand (if you dont have big man hands) none of them hide at all and are very content in my 120. i was thinking 125 for the 3. I do have an aggressive little maroon clown though you can have hes about 2.5" or so

Snowman, do you have any pic you can send me? I'll PM you my personal e-mail address. I think the Sailfin Tang would be great, the Foxface would be good too except I don't want to get stung, and I worry about the Hippo 'cause they're susceptible to disease, and fish in this tank seemed to have gotten stressed out easily. The Maroon might be too aggressive?

Thanks snowman82 for the 6-7" Magnificent Foxface and 5-6" Sailfin Tang. They are both doing great and the owners love them. Will be getting a Tomato Clown soon also. One of the employees went and bought a 4-5" Rectagulus Trigger and a Lionfish last week. The Lion made it one day, fins got munched and eyes picked off. Rect. Trig is doing fine and there doesn't seem to be any apparent conflict (but it's only been 1 day since I added the Foxface & Sailfin).

Still open to anyone that has any semi-aggressive fish.

I also got a Yellowstripe Maroon Clown and an anemone. The Rectagulus Trigger went after him pretty good for a few hours, then backed off and he's doing fine - just a few nipped fins. I think the tank is stocked about right, but still open to suggestions...
