WTB Large Skimmer

    My extra skimmers still pull nasty stuff. I run an octopus in the sump, a corallife 65 hob, and a bakpak on a 75. The octopus pulls about 50x more than the others though. I'd recommend the octopus.

    Yea I think I'll run two, maybe just one at night, possibly none at night. I'm buying a Precision Marine Bullet II Protein Skimmer with a pressure rated Panworld/ Blueline 150 PS pump.

    Quick question, is it even possible to run the PM Bullet skimmer just during the day and shut it off at night, or will it screw with efficiency that way? It would be so nice to not have any skimmers, lights, or fans going at night. I think the Remora will be just fine only during the day, it's a spray injection skimmer and it doesn't take any "tuning" to get it going.
