Just looking for anyone breaking down their tank or just getting rid of live rock. I have a 125gal tank to fill and a little more for the sump and looking to spend under $5-$8 a pound. Thanks

I'm gonna get quite a bit of joes premium live rock but I'm gonna try to get most my tank filled right away. He sells for $7 a pound you can do the math if I need a couple hundred lbs. without tax even. I'm looking for some filler rock to cut down on cost a little bit.

I'm doing the bulk of my tank with MarcoRocks. On black Friday, I got 108 lbs for for under $150. Marine Depot is having a sale on their dry rock too. Just my $.02, but it's a great way to go. Get a little seed rock, and use Purple Up.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Still looking for some live rock. I would like to get a good deal of live rock because I'm trying to keep my filtration simple. Specially for in the sump/fuge. Thanks

  13. I have over 30 lbs of base rock...indo, bali and fiji for $40.00
Also have a lot of REALLY nice indo rock for $5.00/lb. Indo rock is very porus with lots of hole for stacking and staging coral. When I bought it, I paid over $11.00/lb.....my understanding is that indo rock is not available any more.
The rock is clean and I have pictures. If I can remember how, I'll try to post them or I can email them to you.
