Looking for some mangrove let me know if you have any you would like to sell. Would really like for them to have full stems with possible leaves. I am located in Ames, but would drive to Des Moines and the surrounding areas. Looking for about 5-10 of them thanks...

I've heard you can buy them cheap off of eBay. Have you tried there?

I ordered some off ebay last summer, they worked great. I don't know how they ship them in the winter, but in the summer they ship them through the postal service wrapped in wet paper towels in a water proof envelope. I know reefcleaners.org sells them for less than a dollar, they also have snails, crabs, macro algae, etc...

+1 for the vendor.  I got some nice mangroves from them a few months back and they're doing fine.  They'd like more light than I'm giving them but still do a good job on the nitrates.

So I grabbed some of these to stick a few in my biocube 29, and I was wondering if you guys think it would work to just stick the roots through a piece of stryofoam so they are submerged and float it in the middle back chamber of the tank? I'm running the Current Nova Extreme Pro T5 fixture, so the light is raised above the tank so I think the plants should get enough light, plus a I have a small LED fastened to the back that turns on overnight for the chato I have in the back as well.

You should be fine shoving them through styro. Someone told me to do this with mine when i got them at Fallfest. I think I may order a 24 pack from him sometime next week. I was a horticulture major so plants are interesting to me....I know..nerd!
