WTB: Mini Carpet Anemones

    Looking to pick up a few more of these without paying the un-godly amounts you see them going for.  Let me know what you have!

    Well from a few inside threads I have read there true value is about $15 but I am not sure if that is cost from a supplier or market cost. The thread is probably about a year old so the price has probably risen but can't be by that much. My plan is to build up a small collection and start propagating them either but cutting or naturally. I have one cut currently and looks great only after a few days.

    You can buy them from Petco for $30 and most of them will color up under better lighting. I know Joe has picked up a few from there and some of them look pretty darn good after a few weeks in proper tank!

    I would say $30-$40 max on their retail value. They seem to be the "in" thing right now and wholesalers/retailers are taking advantage of it....I have no "proof" of that but it always seems to follow 'What's "in", is what's going to cost'! Of course like everything else, demand drives the price. Look at what Chalices "were" and what they cost "now". If I hear of anyone or see any decent prices online, I'll give you a shout!     i know adams aquatics here in dm had some a few weeks ago.  dont know what the price was tho.
