    Im restarting my 55 soon and want to do it right. I dont like hydrometers so i was curious if anyone had an extra for sale. Let me know! Thanks!

    Whats not to like about Hydrometers? They are easy fast and do the job. lol

    take a water sample down to Pet's Playhouse. You are like 5 min, if that, from them. They'll test all water parameters they can plus use the refract to check your salinity for you.

    Very true but dragging samples down there all the time sucks ***....

    if you already have a hydrometer then take a sample down to PP and have them use their Refrac. use their results to "calibrate" your hydrometer to get more accurate readings. you can do this every month to make sure your hydrometer hasnt totally gone wacky on you.

    otherwise BRS has a good Refrac. for a decent price

    Was looking at getting that same model. Just make sure you grab a bottle of the cal fluid from the guys store with it. RO doesnt always reset it completely.
