WTB: Return Pump

    Hi,
    I am setting up a new 75g which is going to be about 5.5' off the ground so I am going to need a new return pump.  So whatcha guys got?

    I have a blueline 40x external pump around 1100 gph 65$

    Truthfully a maxijet 1200 would work thats what I use for both of my tanks

    LOL...at 5.5 feet of head loss the GPH would be exactly 0 with a maxijet 1200.

    Did you do the math on it...... Mine is at 4ft and it does plenty.... but do what you want guy sorry for putting

    Im not tryin to b funny ,but u use a maxijet 1200 for your main return pump on a 120?

    Yes the main purpose is to return water. I have 3 koralia 3s and 2 seio 1500s in it to..... Why would I need a bigger return pump?

    Are you sure its not a Maxi-jet utility pump and not the powerhead?

    Its the power head which pushes water up 10ft what are the benifits to having a bigger return pump? I have plenty of water movement

    iv never heard of anyone using a mj1200 for a return but if it works cool. I run a rio 2500+ with an mp-40 for flow on my 72 gallon, sorry for getting off subject, dude still needs a return pump
