I'm looking for some 100% pest free LR to seed a new tank.
Looking for roughly softball sized pieces, 1-3 of them. But if the right rock comes along, appearance doesn't really matter. They don't have to be pretty, just alive and clean.
I have some man-made rock that has never been in a running tank, that is cured and the pH is down to satisfactory levels I can trade in return if you like instead of a straight sale. I have a pretty large quantity of it, although some pieces aren't exactly pretty, there are several larger pieces that wouldn't break a tank's appearance. Can get some pics upon request.
I'm in the DM metro, not looking to travel too far (or at all/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif) to find it.

    Matt,

The rock is cured in the context of concrete. It has never been in saltwater, just tap water to knock the pH down to where it is usable in the aquarium.

I currently have about 40-50 pounds of it in my 90Gal which is filled with SW and has all the pumps/PHs running waiting for some seed rock, and probably 60-70 pounds sitting either dry or still in tap water.

I may use a little more of it since it's pretty minimally scaped right now. I'll snap some pictures when I get home today and email and post them here.

Matt, and anyone else interested, here are the pictures of the man made rock. I've placed a softball in each picture for reference. There are also a few more pieces I forgot about in the basement that are about the size of a mini basketball, that are round-ish but not spheres. I can get pics of those upon request too.

Some of the rock is still wet, some is dry. The color difference isn't so dramatic when they are all wet. At the bottom is a picture of what is currently in my tank for reference.

This picture shows the two different shades of grey when both wet. They are very close
