I'm in need of actinic supplementation.  I am not sure if T5's will over power my 3 250w halides so looking to go the VHO route, need either a couple 36" retro's or 3 24" retros or something close to that.

They make 6' fixtures for VHO's. Why not just go that route?

I actually have 2 - 6' actinic VHO's I bought before I took my tank down.  In fact they are still unopened in the Marine Depot box that they shipped in.  If I look I probably still have the end caps for the retro setup also.  It's been a year or two but I can open them up and check, but believe to be 6 - 6' actinic bulbs.
Oh, and pretty sure I still have the Icecap 660 Ballast.  Used for about 18 months and been in storage the past 1-2 years.

Chris, You can also buy new from Hellolights pretty cheap. The ballast is $35. I have three of these ballasts and they seem to work quite well. They also have end caps and bulbs of course.

I have some endcaps, bulbs and a reflector that you can just have if you want them. They are 48" lights, 4 of them. Shaun
