Looking for a wet dry w/ bio balls for a 135g fowlr tank build.
Any suggestions on a brand of wet dry that's worth the money.

Their is a nice 75 gallon sump for sale in the buy sell forum. I would go that route over a wet/dry sump. If that one is to big you could make one. I'm not a big fan off bio balls. Either use live rock or seachem bio matrix. I'm haveing a new sump built and gonna try the matrix. I don't think wet dry filters are worth the money. Just my opinion though.

I'm going wet dry with bio balls for the 1st stage and a few pieces of liverock under the bioballs. Then going to run Ecobak pellets in my reactor.

Great way to do it for an FOWLR tank.. Cheap, easy to mantain it. ZERO levels across the board. You could put as many fish in there as you want and it still be ZERO... I would recommend using 2 7" socks though as im sure you were going to something anyway, i had 2 6X4 socks and i had to change them out every 3-4 days.. That will keep the bio balls clean and only require an annual cleaning.

I just need to find a nice wet dry. I'm really leaning towards the Adhi or a Aqueon proflex 4. I have a aqua c120 skimmer I'm going to run for now until I cna get a reef octopus later.

not mine, but just saw this perusing through craigslist... might be worth making an offer and fixing up if you want to go that route.

I've got a mega flow 4 here, but I put a few holes for bulkhead fittings in it. Functions fine, but if you're a cosmetics guy it probably won't work for you. Could get some pics tonight.
