So I have an awesome opportunity to go off to the Caribbean and specialize in exotic animal medicine once I finish my schooling here at ISU. Though it is not 100% yet, chances are it will pan out, and there will be no taking the tank there (my initial plans were to take it back to Cali with me when we move). I just finally got around to gathering anything and everything I would need for the tank and put water and sand in it only two weeks ago. I am thinking about just selling the tank if I am able to get what I want for it now. If not, I may just do something more simple than I had planned and then sell when it comes closer to the time for us to leave.
So... here is what we got.
150g Acrylic Tank (48x30x30) - built in overflow, drilled for two closed loops and plugged with bulkheads (I wasn't going with the closed loop) - there is a bit of crazing on the upper left and right front (I know, bummer that it's the front). It honestly is BARELY noticable with water in it. If you don't believe me, come take a look, I currently have water in it. There is also a noticeable scratch at the very top, which didn't bother me since the canopy I was planning on building would have covered it up anyway. I am sure it can be buffed out though. It is acrylic after all! The back, including the overflow, is a solid navy blue acrylic.
    2x MP40wES powerheads
2x Gen-X PCX40 (I am fairly sure on that model number) return pumps (one would be as backup) - 1200gph
Reefkeeper Elite Controller with 4x PC4s, NET module, SL1 module, SL2 module, Temp probe (would need pH and Salinity probes still) - had plans on ATO as well, just need the kit
2x 400w Electronic Metal Halide Ballasts (Blue-Line Brand) with 2x SE sockets and DIY mini LumenArc Reflectors. Also have some "cheapo" Plusrite bulbs in 14000K that I was planning to try out. I lit them once and they were quite blue and looked nice, though they have had some fairly mixed reviews online (love it or hate it kind of thing).
icecap 660 ("old" model) with heat sink and wiring harness (could possibly use a new harness)
    8x Waterproof T5 encaps (4 pairs)
    4x individual icecap T5 reflectors
7x t5 bulbs of various colors. I got one (Blue PLUS) new for super cheap. The others had 2-8 months on them per Slovan (member here on GIRS) - my goal here was to play around with coloration and see what I liked/didn't like since t5s were to be supplemental lighting.
ASM G-4 protein skimmer w/ Sedra 5000 pump (no mods, although I planned to mod it)
GEO calcium reactor (I believe it is the GEO 612, rated for up to 300-ish gallons... I can look more into that). I also have electronic solenoid and a 10lb CO2 tank
2x Two Little Fishies Media Reactor 150 (with some additional O-Rings and parts)
55g sump - original owner had it drilled (has plenty of "holes", only one of which I was going to end up using. All are fitted with bulkheads and those I didn't plan to use are capped) and partitioned with 1/8" glass. I removed the glass and ordered 1/4" to do it right. Have not yet siliconed it in though.
75g Rubbermaid Stock tank - this was going to be the sump/fuge before I acquired the 55g tank to use as a sump. Still had plans to possibly do a fuge and maybe some mangroves.
200lbs man made "oystercrete" dry rock that has been cured for 4 months and is ready to be seeded with life. I made some cool looking pieces that I am actually pretty proud of!
It is currently on a plywood "skeleton" which I was pondering making a "facade" for. Unfortunately to get the stand out the door I would have to partially dismantle it, but it is yours if you want it. It is nothing pretty, by any stretch of the word, but it is functional.
Now for a price. I am asking $2500. Club members (especially those who have helped me out in the past) can have a bit of a discount. I think that is a fair price. The powerheads and controller alone would run you about $1400. I am not hurting to sell this right now and don't really want to part out. I suppose I would do so if everything is accounted for prior to selling any of it, but I would have to price things out individually.
This isn't me getting out of the hobby (I still have my ultra DIY 10g). Like I said, there is a strong possibility that the Caribbean is calling my name and I would hate to put a ton of time/effort/money into this tank (too late!), only to see it potentially go in a few years.

I should add I have some other misc. things like 30g food grade containers for mixing and making RO water, a box of various plumbing parts, and a couple other odds and ends that I would be happy to throw in.

If the opportunity arises and you decide to part stuff out I would be interested in the T5 end caps and reflectors

I just responded to your thread (before reading this one LOL). If I can get the tank moved I would probably be willing to part out since I have some interested in the bulk of the hardware.

The 400w MH ballast are actually Blue Line ballasts. Not sure what I was thinking with Blue Plus LOL.
I also have people asking about various things. The way I would like to do it is this. If you want the tank, you have first dibs on anything else I have here, even if it is "spoken for". I feel this is fair since I am telling everyone I don't want to part out before I have the tank sold. There are some that have spoken of interest for over 50% of what I have here. Why not just buy it all (I'll knock a nice chunk off for members) and sell what you don't want? /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif
    Also...
I HAVE A PICKUP TRUCK AND AM WILLING TO DELIVER FOR A NOMINAL FEE (some gas and lunch money would do fine).

Also, and Algae-Free Tiger Shark Magnetic Float with brand new acrylic safe pads that I forgot to mention.

So I almost literally have everything spoken for but the tank! LOL
Come on... someone wants a 150g acrylic tank! Don't make me set this thing up and tear it back down in two years! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Some pics I forgot I had on photobucket from right around when I bought the tank. It was a little dirty at the time. I can get some better pics of the front tomorrow (with sand, water, and rock in it too). If you want pics of the equipment can do that for you sometime tomorrow as well.
