I use the WXM for my 4 mp40s. I really like it. I went with it because I already have the apex. I run through 5 different modes a day ramping up through the day and down at night.
I have never seen the reef link but should do same things. If you have or planning on getting apex in my opinion WXM is the way to go.

Just a tidbit of info, you might want the reeflink instead..
I got the wxm for my radions then found out acclimation mode, percentages for lightning/clouds, sunrise/sunset mode, and I want to say one other thing that isn't coming to mind all do not work with the wxm via fusion.
It's another craptastic response by Neptune for their laziness to not fully porting all the stuff to the new website interface. "use the classic interface"

Then I got a vortech, lowest speed supported is around 10-20%... still can't get a clear answer from customer service. The guy originally said, "you can likely run it at 20% lowest speed". He got an earful in that email for saying 'you can likely'.

All in all, I really wish I would have gotten the reeflink instead of the overpriced wxm. People have been waiting for years for the functionality above. In that time Neptune has released 4 other brand new products, so I don't think they give a crap.

So you can't access the radion lights with Apex fusion through the WXM module ? If that is so that would explain I have been trying to hook up my lights through a WXM module that I had purchased. I have been trying to install my lights on a WXM module through fusion

To be honest, I have an Apex and MP40's but since I run Kessils and not Radions, I don't worry about the lack of Radion support. With that said I won't be getting a WXM module because I leave it on lagoon mode all day and night. And when I use feed mode, my MP40 puts my other 2 tanks on feed mode at the same time even though they aren't hooked up to the same Apex.

I don't have a radion but there is a place to access an control them. Not sure about the cloud and lightning gimmicks but control is there.

As for the vortec. I guess I don't understand why you would run one under 20% anyway unless in feed mode. Not sure why apex won't fix that but if you only run that speed why not get smaller vortec. Unless glass is to thick to support an mp10.

I have never used the reef link so can't comment on that but I do like the control for the vortec. Never a problem for me. I will have to mess around running lower power percent for the vortec and see how it works.

Jeremy I had an interesting conversation with the vp of sales and marketing about several different things "they won't fix".
I'm getting a full refund because it's been more than 6 months, 5 product releases, and zero advancement on these areas I complained about.
I feel he's doing it because he doesn't want negative reviews. Either way, I'm taking it and gonna probably check out another controller. I have some interesting info from these convo's too.
